Knowledge process outsourcing
(KPO)
is a form of outsourcing, in which knowledge-related and information-related work is carried out by workers in a different company or by a subsidiary of the same organization, which may be in the same country or in an off shore location to save cost. Distance education, or distance learning, is a field of education that focuses on delivering education to students who are not physically "on site" in a traditional classroom or campus. It has been described as "a process to create and provide access to learning when the source of information and the learners are separated by time and distance, or both. Electronic commerce or e-commerce refers to a wide range of online business activities for products and services. E-commerce is the use of electronic communications and digital information processing technology in business transactions to create, transform, and redefine relationships for value creation between or among organizations, and between organizations and individuals. Internet Document Management It is a set of computer programs that allows easy and central storage of electronic documents on an Internet-accessible server and accessed using a previously known web browser, downloaded for review or manipulation, and then returned to the server for access by further users. |
